Vivanco's Prowire range offers much to admire: its cables are neatly turned out and appear well made, if a little showy to look at (and a little plasticky to the touch).
However, the Prowire's modest price is swiftly laid bare once you listen to it: high frequencies have a splashy edge and a lack of subtle detail; lower down the frequency range, the sound lacks sufficient drive for our tastes.
Does the job, then, but you can also buy better.
