Creative was one of the very first manufacturers on the block with both MP3 and MP4/multimedia players, and the company's back again here with two new additions.
The basic ZEN X-Fi comes with an 8GB hard disk, a 2.5in TFT screen and offers both a built-in speaker as well as a headphone jack and a pair of Creative's EP-830 'phones.
This player and the ZEN X-Fi Wireless LAN also features Creative's X-Fi audio technology, designed to "restore the highs and lows" lost in lower quality digital files.
Choose the Wireless LAN version of the ZEN X-Fi and you can have either a 16 or 32GB hard disk model as well as the Wi-Fi connection.This enables you to connect to your network and play music from your PC.
Also on board the new player is an SD card slot, microphone and an FM radio.
The ZEN X-Fi 8GB will set you back £110, the Wireless LAN 16GB is £140 and the Wireless LAN 32GB is £200. Look out for a review soon...
