CES 2015: Cabasse launches StreamAMP

It sports a compact, four-channel design, and the manufacturer claims it to be the "ideal building brick" of a Cabasse distributed audio system. The StreamAMP can stream files from downloads and CD rips via wi-fi or Ethernet, with the system controlled by the Cabasse StreamCONTROL app for iOS and Android.

Your content can also be streamed wirelessly via Bluetooth and NFC, while wi-fi direct allows for a high definition connection. Internet radio stations can also be accessed through the unit, with streaming services Deezer and Spotify built-in.

The Cabasse StreamAMP is expected to be available from February 2015 for £449.

Max Langridge

Max is a staff writer for What Hi-Fi?'s sister site, TechRadar, in Australia. But being the wonderful English guy he is, he helps out with content across a number of Future sites, including What Hi-Fi?. It wouldn't be his first exposure to the world of all things hi-fi and home cinema, as his first role in technology journalism was with What Hi-Fi? in the UK. Clearly he pined to return after making the move to Australia and the team have welcomed him back with arms wide open.
