NEWS: Charge and play your iPod with Gear4's BassStation

Another day, another iPod dock, this time from Gear4. The £99 BassStation is a 2.1 docking system with a built-in subwoofer and charging dock for your iPod.

It has a claimed output of 35w per channel, and 15w for the subwoofer, which has a 5in driver.

Non-iPod owners can also connect other MP3 players to the system via the phono input, and there's a video out jack for connecting the unit to a TV.

The remote control can be used to play, pause, rewind or fast forward any docked iPod, and can also adjust bass and treble levels on the BassSound itself.

Gear4's BassStation is available now from www.gear4store.com and high street retailers.
