This DAB/FM design packs an integrated rechargeable battery, said to be good for 12 hours use with both mains and in-car cables provided to power/recharge it. It also has an SD card slot for music playback, 3.5mm inputs and outputs and a 30-minute onboard memory for pausing, rewinding and recording radio programmes. There's also a remote control, but while the radio's build quality is fine, the interface could be more logical.

The Pico+ is a composed and confident listen. It's well behaved at the frequency extremes, carries warmth through the midrange, and communicates excitement well.
