NEWS: Samsung's YP-P2 MP3 player has touch-screen control

There are a couple of new MP3 players coming from Samsung, including the YP-P2J shown here. It has a touch-screen user interface, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity and comes in 2, 4 and 8GB versions.

Audio playback time is a claimed 35 hours, video playback five hours and a full recharge takes about two hours via the mains, or 4.5 hours via USB.

Resolution on the 3in, 16:9 screen is 480 x 272 and the unit supports MP3, WMA, JPEG, WMV and MPEG4 files.

It will work with Windows XP, Vista or WMP10 on a PC and has USB 2.0 connectivity. And if you want to mess around with the sound, there are 11 EQ settings to choose from, including studio, rock, classical and jazz.

There's a 3.5mm headphone jack, so you can swap the standard headphones for your own if you so desire.

Also due soon is the Samsung T10 (above), which will be available in black, purple and white.
