Apple's AirPods Pro are the tech company's premium line of wireless, noise-canceling earbuds, and you can pick up a pair right now on Amazon for just $175 (opens in new tab), down from the AirPods Pro's original $250 price tag.

AirPods Pro are extremely comfortable earbuds that sound good and make tons of sense for Apple device users – but for the price, you do  have options for better sound quality. (Check out our round-up of the best wireless earbuds for examples.) However, at just $175, the AirPods Pro are an excellent buy for the price.

Apple AirPods Pro deal

Apple AirPods Pro: $250 $175 at Amazon (save $75) (opens in new tab)
The premium version AirPods are exceptionally comfortable earbuds with great noise-canceling and a balanced, likeable sound. At $250, they can be a bit expensive, but for $175, the AirPods Pro are a great deal.

The AirPods Pro compete with the heavyweights of the earbuds world like the Sony WF-1000XM3 (and the WF-1000XM4, of course), and even if they don't have the very best sound quality money can buy, they can more than hold their own.

Perhaps the defining feature of the AirPods Pro are their convenience and comfort. They sit in your ears like a dream; their noise-cancellation works effectively; and they've got an easygoing, balanced sound.

For Apple users coming from Apple's basic earphones or AirPods, the AirPods Pro are a solid upgrade, particularly in the context of noise-cancellation, which cuts down massively on distractions from the outside world.

Sony might have better-sounding earbuds, but they cost more and they don't build in all the magical iOS conveniences that the AirPods Pro do, and at just $175 the AirPods Pro are a fantastic deal made ever better if you use a lot of Apple products.

We here at What Hi-Fi? really liked them, giving them four-stars in our review and said they offer "unprecedented levels of comfort [that makes] them a very strong option in the category".
