The best turntable deals 2026: lowest-ever prices on five-star record players

Even though it's not currently discounted, our favourite budget turntable is worth considering for sheer value. The Primary E is a multiple Award winner that nails the basics at this price, delivering a detailed, spacious, balanced and entertaining sound. The set-up is minimal and while it looks plain, this 'purist' design is a great starter hi-fi turntable for those getting into vinyl.

We love a good deal on this excellent, if plain-looking, Sony Bluetooth turntable. The PS-LX310BT is a plug-and-play, fully automatic design that includes a phono stage and can connect to up to eight Bluetooth headphones or speakers. For its budget price, it is well built and sounds entertaining, and ideal for vinyl beginners or who want ultimate convenience when playing records.

The Award-winning Technics SL-1500C is one of the best-sounding, fuss-free direct drive record players we've heard for under a grand. Its rock-solid build is coupled with a solid, stable and commanding sound, while the fact it comes with a built-in phono stage is a boon at this level, making it easy to incorporate into most music systems. The deal price is only available on the black finish.

This Pro-Ject won us over with its sweet-sounding midrange and easy-going balance that's immediately likeable. The Debut Evo 2 is easy to use and comes in a variety of colourful hues, although only three are currently available for £30 off. But still, any savings on a deck this good are worth taking advantage of.

Pro-Ject’s simple but effective T1 Evo BT sets a new benchmark for Bluetooth turntables thanks to its simplicity, flexibility and performance at this level. At less than £420, this deal is worth pouncing upon if you're hunting for a bargain. The deal price is available across all three finishes, but all three are currently only available for pre-order with stocks due back soon.

Audio-Technica’s excellent LP5x turntable is another deck that has stood the test of time, delivering a richly detailed, robust and sure-footed performance that's enjoyable and easy to use. It comes with a very good built-in phono stage for both MC and MM cartridges, has a USB port for ripping vinyl into digital files, and is sleek and sturdy. While there is no current deal on, it remains a great-value budget record player.

Robust build quality with all the DJ trappings, it's no wonder Technics remains a go-to for vinyl fans. The premium SL-1200GR Mk2 version sounds clean, punchy and muscular, and is a delight to use. And it's even more delightful now it's £200 off at Peter Tyson, while both the silver and black (1210GR2) finishes can be had at the discounted price.

This easy-to-use turntable comes with built-in phono stage and Bluetooth streaming, and delivers a smooth, easy-going sound that's enjoyable to listen to. The AT-LPW50BTRW looks lovely too, and worth the discount if you're after a trendy, capable and versatile Bluetooth turntable that you can connect to wireless speakers and Bluetooth headphones.

This Pro-Ject Debut Revolve is a Peter Tyson exclusive, and while we've not reviewed this exact model, this is a tidy £100 off a deck that has a strong heritage.

We are big fans of Pro-Ject's Debut range (the current Debut Evo 2 is a What Hi-Fi? Award winner), and so it's a great foundation for this Revolve deck. It comes with an acrylic platter, the reliable Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge, electronic speed control for 33 1/3 and 45 RPM, and has a built-in phono stage.

Pro-Ject 2Xperience SB: was £799 now £659 at Richer Sounds (save £140)
We originally reviewed this premium Pro-Ject deck back in 2016 at £1050, but the price went down to £799 last year – but is now even cheaper with a further £100 off. This is a sleek, well-made turntable that offers a rich, full-bodied midrange. It could be more precise and insightful, but its warm, endearing sound will please many, especially at this lowest-ever price.

The ATLP120USB we tested many years ago was a sturdy performer with a tonally even sound and ample features, including a USB output for ripping your vinyl into digital files to a Mac or PC. The updated 'X' model features a more efficient direct drive motor, anti-skating adjustment, a refreshed design and a switchable phono preamp. As a budget spinner, it's a solid design for vinyl newbies and amateur DJs. Deal price on silver finish only.

Black finish available for £245 at Amazon

While it didn't represent the best value when we tested it at its full price of just under £1000, the retro-modern JBL TT350 Classic direct drive turntable is a different animal when slashed to just £499. At this knockdown price, its sound-per-pound ratio is vastly improved, making it far easier to recommend.

Audio-Technica’s original AT-LP5 turntable was a real winner. This LP5x model is even better: it now comes with an easier-to-fit cartridge and a built-in phono stage for both MC and MM, and it even sounds a little cleaner than its predecessor. Another winner and with a decent discount to boot. Five stars

Audio Technica AT-LP120XUSB was $399 now $349 at Amazon (save $50)
Audio-Technica’s USB turntable was a four-star performer when we reviewed it a while ago, with the fact that it's still being made today testifying to its enduring quality and popularity. The direct-drive table offers 33, 45, and 78 RPM speeds, with a damped base construction designed for reduced low-frequency feedback.
