Panasonic reveals prices of recordable Blu-ray discs
Panasonic has announced UK prices for its recordable Blu-ray discs to go with its new DMR-BS850 and DMR-BS750 Blu-ray/Freesat recorders

A three-pack of write-once, 4x speed, 25GB BD-R discs will cost £20, while a three-pack of rewritable, 25GB, 2x speed discs will sell for £30.
If you want the new, faster 6x discs that enable you to record one hour of high-definition material to a BD disc in just four minutes, they'll set you back £15 a pop.
And next year Panasonic will release 100GB-capacity Blu-ray discs, twice the capacity of today's dual-layer, 50GB discs, but there's no word on prices for those just yet.
If the cost of recording to Blu-ray seems a bit steep, then don't forget Panasonic also plans to introduce a DVD Freesat+ recorder with 200GB hard disk drive, the DMR-XS350, for £699.
