NEWS: Rock 'n' roll radios - for charidee, mate!

We didn't think it was possible, but Pure has managed to make its Marshall Edition Evoke-1XT even more rock 'n' roll.

If it wasn't enough to have your portable DAB in the style of a mini Marshall amplifier, complete with a volume dial that goes up to 11, you can now have it signed by a rock legend - and do your bit for charity.

Pure is auctioning a series of one-off, signed radios for music therapy charity Nordoff-Robbins.

A huge list of artists including Alice Cooper (top), Bill Wyman, Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher (middle), Bruce Dickinson and Gene Simmons (bottom), to name just a few, have literally put their names to a Marshall Edition Evoke-1XT.

The auction will take place at www.rockstarradios.com during October 2007, with all proceeds going to Nordoff-Robbins. So get those credit cards at the ready and grab yourself a one-off, truly rock 'n' roll radio...
