Roksan Kandy MkIII - Speakers
Hi all,
I'd really like some advice on a set of speakers to go with my Roksan Kandy MkIII amplifier. I used to use it with some B&W 685s but found the presentation a little bright. I've since moved these to my home cinema system and am much happier with them there.
I have a couple of speakers on my shortlist at the moment, namely the KEF Q300, as well as the current best buys: Q Acoustics 2050i and the Tannoy DC6/DC6T. If anyone can suggest different speakers that I should put on my list I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Mike

If it is too bright then the Kef LS50s are worth a hearing. Or how about the new AE 301s?
I think the Kef Q300 maybe a little bright also, from what I have read.
Agree with BigH. It you thought the 685's were bright I would avoid the Q300's.

I would suggest you dem some speakers. The main reason is because the Kandy MKIII & LIII can sound a little boisterous with some speaker makes. Your short-list, BTW, looks good - you could also add Focal 714V and Quad into the mix.
Leema Pulse MKII-S; Naim CD5i MKII; Denon TU-260L MKII; MA RS6 speakers; Pro-ject Xpression 1; loads of different cables...
