Hisense's Award-winning looks like something out of a sci-fi movie, and it's available at a great discount
Snag this Black Friday bargain to save $400
It's not every day that a model swoops into our test room and absolutely steals the show when we come to review it.
But that was the case when the Hisense M2 Pro projector came in for testing, dazzling with its natural yet immersive picture and uncompromising set of features. It even won a What Hi-Fi? Award this year for its performance.
And there's good news! The Hisense model is available for $899 at Amazon, chopping a whole $400 off its original price. If this sounds tempting, you might have to move fast as Amazon claims there are only 16 left in stock at this price.

This tiny home cinema in a box punches well above its weight in terms of picture performance, and will attract many with its modern design.

While it does not reach the same cinematic heights as more expensive projectors such as the mid-range BenQ W2720i and the premium Epson EH-LS9000, the Hisense M2 Pro is an excellent entry-level “coffee table” projector.
We have dubbed it a "coffee table" model instead of portable as although it is easy to carry around, it does not feature a built-in battery so isn't ideal for watching movies on the move.
Still, measuring 19 x 22 x 23cm (7.6 x 8.6 x 9.1"), it's Hisense's smallest and most portable 4K projector yet. And weighing 3.9kg (8.6lbs), it's its lightest as well. On the body, you will find one HDMI 2.1 input, a single USB 3.0 and a power connector.
Turning to design, this Hisense model certainly looks sleek with its silver body that can tilt a full 360 degrees.
But how does it actually perform? Although it takes a bit of fiddling with the default settings to get our preferred picture, the Hisense M2 Pro's image is sharp and consistent.
We note in our review: "Colours continue to pop but retain their realism as the film transitions to a night-time battle. There’s a nice amount of contrast, and tracer bullets across the night sky look fantastic, retaining a precisely controlled burn."
In terms of sound, the projector has a 2.0, 10W in-built speaker system. It's less impressive than its picture offerings, but we still find while watching Civil War: "Though it's only a stereo set-up, the sound of helicopters entering a military camp has a clear sense of direction, and there’s a decent amount of volume – to the point that anything above 25 sounds too loud in our listening rooms".
So, if you are looking for an easy to use, great-value projector that can be easily stored away, the Hisense M2 Pro is a great find this Black Friday especially with $400 off at Amazon.
