I've come across this (title) on ebay.Has anybody come across this particular turntable from circa early '80's? I'm torn between spending approx €200 on a modern turntable or investing in a good quality vintage decice. I'm connecting to an entry level Cambridge Audio Topaz AM1 so "super" quality is not necessarily required but I would prefer something pre-amped. My research so far would lead me to believe that anything from this era will require a phono amplifier.

Your Topaz only has 4 line-level inputs so you will need a phono preamplifier regardless of what type of cartridge you are going to fit.
You might be better off going for a Project turntable with fitted preamp.
