Hi, I ordered the Wharferdale Diamond 121 speakers, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzfnvOATX70) and will be ordering the Rega Brio-R integrated amp soon. Which cables do I need to connect the two together? Noob question I know but any help is much appreciated!

The back of the Wharfedale's can be seen here at 1:13

And the back of the Rega amp can be seen here at 0:54

If you bi wire you will need a four core cable for each speaker at th amp end you will need to connect both blacks together to the - terminal on amp both reds together to the + on the amp at the speaker end you will have to remove the links on the speaker terminals and then connect one black to the tweeter - and one black to - bass/mid  and connect one red + to the + on the tweeter and one red + to mid bass+  be carefull not to short out speaker wires ie do not touch red to black so check no cables ( red/black) touch each other  before switching on your amp I hope this helps

HOW MUCH??!!  Don't waste your money which could be better spent on something else!

Get yourself on eBay and search for OFC speaker cable.  I use this, and even with this I've seriously over-egged the pudding in terms of how good it needs to be to carry audio to a pair of speakers:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SPEAKER-CABLE-Transparent-OFC-Wire-40A-Heavy-D...

Or even nip down to Wilkinson's or B&Q and look for something similar.  Just make sure it's OFC and not too thin and straggly.

Really, it's all you need.
