The July 2022 issue of What Hi-Fi? is now on sale, and this month we've got a CD special.

The July issue of What Hi-Fi? is dedicated to that most overlooked and undervalued of physical formats, the CD. They may not have the convenience of streaming services or the nostalgic appeal of vinyl, but CDs still have plenty to offer a discerning listener, so this month we got a round-up of the best CD players you can buy.

Elsewhere we've got a TV style Fight Club as two brand new LG OLEDs go head to head. LG's C2 and G2 are both hugely impressive and represent different price points, but which is the best OLED TV for you?

We also take a look at our favourite turntable cartridges on the market, our pick of the best portable DACs and count down the best pure pop tracks to test your system. As usual, we also have reviews of all the latest products in our First Tests section and more premium kit in our regular Temptations slot.
