Pro-Ject's latest turntable won us over with its sweet-sounding midrange and easy-going balance that's immediately likeable. The Debut Evo 2 is easy to use and comes in a variety of colourful hues, although this deal price is only available on the wine red satin and white gloss finishes.

Audio-Technica’s excellent LP5x turntable is another deck that has stood the test of time, delivering a richly detailed, robust and sure-footed performance that's enjoyable and easy to use. It comes with a very good built-in phono stage for both MC and MM cartridges, has a USB port for ripping vinyl into digital files, and is sleek and sturdy.

While there is no current deal on, it remains a great-value budget record player.
