Ostensibly sired from the same stock as the stablemate Prowire range, this Vivanco is an appreciably better cable.
It injects composure into higher frequencies, polishing the Prowire PW21115's occasionally brittle treble excess into a more assured, enjoyable whole.
You'll still find yourself yearning for some more oomph – kickdrums can sound a little hollow, deep basslines a shade too shallow – but at the price, the presentation is commendably rounded.
Vivanco SHQ1112D review
