Spotted thease guys on Facebook, new company  they are making wood headphones (buds) in the UK form sustainable sources, Based in Yorkshire look nice and should be interesting, made an enquiry and they go on sale in a few weeks and should be around £20, they will sell direct but the website is only a Facebook and twitter redirect at the moment, some photos on Facebook. Will probably buy a pair to see what they are like  Wink

Ordered a pair of woodbuds as much out of curiosity than anything else, first impressions they do look really nice and they sound pretty good too, they come in recycled card packaging with 3 sizes of ear piece,  tonally they are quite rich more bass heavy than I like personally  it is quite well controled bass and if I am being chritical for me and the sort of music i generally listen to this bass depth takes away from the mid and upper frequencies but I am comparing against things like my Alessandro MS1 and Shure E2c which cost significantly more than thease little buds.

For the price thease are a nice sounding headphone and they look like they cost significantly more than they actually do.

Sorry yes forgot to put a link in to the site.

I think there may be plans in future to expand the range I did ask about a version with a Mic to use on my phone and they will be looking at this next year, lets hope they fancy dipping their toe in to something higher end too Smile

Bought a pair of these headphones after seeing these comments. They were good for like a day. 

Then the left earphone went really quiet compared to the right side, so I decided to email the returns about a possibility of sending them back for a new pair as it states on their website that if you're not completely happy, then send them back. 

However I didn't get any kind of response at all. A small company like that who are obviously just starting off should try to get as many happy customers as they can but if they're not replying to their emails, then what's the point in putting one up for you to email? 

 

Thouroughly disappointed with the headphones as well as the poor customer service

We're really sorry that you feel that our product and service let you down. We're a very small team here, trying to do a decent job of creating unique and interesting tech, at a competitive price with little resource, however this is no excuse. Occasionally things can slip through our net and it would appear that your issue has, I believe your email was marked as resolved when it wasn't so.

We were unaware of your feelings untill we came across this post / thread over the weekend, so we've created an account to try and answer you directly, and honestly. Frankly I can only apologise for the delay in getting back to you. 

I had a look back through our orders, and located your name, and order details. I can see you had a White set of woodbuds, sadly we're out of stock currently (we're making more but it takes us a while) so instead I've sent you out a new set of Black Woodbuds. 

You should (by the time you read this) have your new buds, and I hope they are much improved. Should you have any issues again please contact us on the email address on our site, we work to get back to everyone within 24 hours, and I can only apologise for not resolving all this faster, it doesnt reflect who we are and the service we provide.
