Hey

I bought a second sky HD box from a work collegue for 20.00. not sure why.

Can I put it in my bedroom and run a Co-Ax from the main Sky HD box and use the second box upstairs?

What can I do with this second box.

Thanks so much

Not a standard aerial feed no, you need additional cables from your dish to this box to use it, although without a multi-room subscription you could only use it for freesat channels (and possibly not even all of those) and won't be able to use any of the Sky+ features.

You're still in the same boat, just minus the HD. You don't fancy multi-room for 10 or 15 quid per month then (I can't remember how much it is)? You only pay one HD charge now, if you did get an HD box (which you could probably get for free from Sky).

I bet you could get more than £20 on ebay.

Stick up for sale and you should make a profit.
