Tech + Link WireXS MI (2m) review

Offers a decent picture, but still can’t quite raise itself above average in HDMI terms Tested at £60.00

Our Verdict

Stable, colourful picture, but other HDMI cables deliver better detail and black levels

For

  • Colourful and clean

Against

  • Otherwise average performance

While this £80 cable certainly offers a decent picture, it still can't quite raise itself above average in HDMI terms.

Its colour balance is full of beans without being lurid, and the picture is clean with little sign of noise. But below-par contrast levels mean shades of black aren't as clearly differentiated as via others. With better insight also delivered by rivals, plus a slightly thick midrange delivery, the WireXS has to settle for a mid-table verdict.
