Dutch Grand Prix 2025: preview
Norris went 0.356s faster than Max Verstappen in Qualifying, before comprehensively trouncing the home favourite by nearly 23s in the race itself. Piastri finished fourth behind Charles Leclerc, more than 27s behind his teammate. It was an astonishing performance, which arguably still ranks as Norris' best in F1.
The big question is, can he pick up where he left off? Norris took 99 points from the last four races (including a Sprint), with Piastri scoring 86 points over the same period.
The Australian was hard done by at Silverstone, where he was given an extremely harsh 10-second penalty for a dodgy restart, which gifted Norris the victory at his own expense. But there's little doubt that Norris is cutting out the mistakes that cost him last year's championship, so much so that the poor start at Spa felt like a lapse rather than a reversion to the mean.
