These Shures come with a selection of buds of various shapes and sizes, but none make the headphones as easy to fit as the Sennheisers or Klipschs in-ears at this price-point.

Persevere with the foam tips, which you compress with your fingers and allow to expand in your ear, and the noise isolation of the SE310s is extremely impressive.

They're no longer the best at this price for bass weight and punch, but for overall detail and clarity they're still very good indeed.

The problem is that the Klipsch Image X5s offer similarly excellent levels of insight and excitement with greater all-round balance.
