Onkyo’s two latest AVRs have been made to celebrate the company's 70th anniversary and come with support for both DTS:X and Dolby Atmos 3D sound formats.

We don't see many stereo receivers these days, but Onkyo has unveiled two new models, the £549 TX-8150 (above) and the £449 TX-8130. It has also launched a no-frills multichannel AV receiver, the £199 TX-SR252, with 4K compatibility.

The CS-N765 is the successor to Onkyo's Award-winning CR-N755 network CD receiver, and comes with a host of “significant upgrades”, including high-res audio support and a new headphone amp.

The new receivers are THX certified and support 4K video at 60fps. Built-in wi-fi and Bluetooth is also present and they can be connected to a record player.

For just £6.99, iOS users can enjoy high resolution audio on their chosen iDevice, as well as getting a whole host of EQ options for free

There are three models in the range: the Onkyo LS-B40 (£299), the LS-B50 with 40W wireless subwoofer (£449) and the LS-T10 TV speaker system (£349)
