Looking for a rough guide price for the sale of a 13" MacBook Pro. Still unopened in box - bought in April.
Tried looking at Apple site for refurb prices but they don't have any 13" for sale.

Thanks bb - it's actually an uncle who is selling it and he asked what I thought he should ask for it. You've confirmed my price bracket as he hasn't opened it and they're on Amazon for near list price but some of them are 'as new'.
This MBP is still unopened. He bought it with the intention of learning (via the Apple Store) how to operate it etc. but his work commitments have meant that so far, he is unable to commit to the tuition so he's selling this one and will get another once his work schedule allows.
Only down-side is Apple have had a tech refresh since then (have the non-retina MBPs?) so that makes it slightly less of a hot item, maybe.
Main system: Mac Mini 2011 > HRT II+ DAC • Cyrus 2 & PSX • Cyrus tuner • MS 10i speakers [on loan]
Also cluttering-up the place: Thorens TD160 (no cart) • Marantz CD 63 mkII KI & PM66 KI • Technics SL-P777 • Nakamichi DR-1
1) Retina display MBPs are significantly more expensive than non-retina display ones. Non retina ones are still on sale & are current models.
2) Retina display MBPs do not have an optical drive & are aimed at a different customer base.
3) You're right about the fact that Apple have had a tech refresh in June which will affect the value, for people who are up to date with launches.
