NEWS: Award-winning Meridian F80 now available in seven colours

Meridian's Award-winning F80 home entertainment system is now available in two new special edition high-gloss finishes - Rubino Micallizzato red and Grigio Silverstone graphite - bringing the total number of colour options to seven.

The F80 is hand built in the UK at Meridian's high-tech factory in Huntingdon and costs £1495. It was voted Best Hi-Fi System over £500 in the 2007 What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision Awards.

Under the sylish exterior lies a DAB/FM radio, CD/DVD player and three power amps delivering 80 watts to two front speakers and an integral subwoofer.

Advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology enables the F80 to be fine tuned depending on where it is positioned in the room.

Meridian worked closely with Ferrari to develop the special composite materials used in the F80's construction. The electronics are housed in a solid, die-cast metal base and the loudspeakers are mounted within inert, separate enclosures created from a special alloy-injected composite.
