LG to focus on quantum dot and OLED for next-gen TVs

Jung Do-hyun, LG Electronics' chief financial officer, told analysts: "We are pursuing a dual-track strategy with quantum dot and OLED."

LG, the world's no.2 television maker behind Korean rival Samsung, launched the world's first curved 4K OLED TVs earlier this year - but with a price tag of £8000 for a 65in set, they clearly won't be for everyone.
