Bush DABCR2004

Compact unit offers four alarms, plus a good display, but sound and reception are merely average

- Poor reception
If your home's not spectacularly well served by the digital signal, be wary of this curvy little white clock-radio: for all its smooth, organic looks, its puny wire aerial might not pick up as many radio stations as some.
Once tuned in, the Bush delivers a decent sound for the money, though falls short of the best in its class: the treble's a tad sharp and it sounds rather small. But with a suite of alarms and a good display, it's worth a look.
