BRISTOL SHOW: Cabasse returns to the UK with Eole 5.1 speaker system

Cabasse Eole 5.1

Last seen in the UK several years ago, Cabasse was founded in 1950 by George Cabasse, whose ancestors made violins at Mirecourt in the Vosges mountains during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

Fast forward to the 21st century, and Cabasse is best known for its range of hi-fi, home cinema and custom installation speakers.

Bristol will mark the debut of the Eole 5.1 sub/satellite system (£1199), which comprises five Eole 2 spherical satellites and the Santorin 21 subwoofer. It's available in black and white gloss finishes.

Each satellite speaker has a 29mm soft-dome tweeter and a 10cm midrange/woofer, giving a 170Hz-22kHz frequency response. The Santorin 21 subwoofer uses a 21cm drive unit and 250 watt amplifier, reaching down to 35Hz.

A magnetic fixing base enables the satellites to be swivelled in any direction, whether attached to the dedicated metal floor stands, wall/desk mounting brackets or in-ceiling mounting plate.
