Behind the scenes at the Marantz reader event in the What Hi-Fi? test rooms

By What Hi-Fi?

Find out what it's like to experience the legendary Marantz sound in the What Hi-Fi? test rooms

We know how lucky we are to get the chance to hear the latest audio and video products in our state-of-the-art test rooms. So we thought it only right that we share this opportunity with our readers.

That's why we teamed-up with Marantz to offer our lucky readers the chance to come to the What Hi-Fi? listening rooms – and be in with a chance of winning a Marantz Melody X all-in-one streaming system and Definitive Technology Demand D7 speakers.

We picked three lucky winners from hundreds of entries, and treated them to an all-expenses paid trip to the Future Labs test room in Bath to experience the legendary sound of Marantz in all its glory.

We listened to a variety of stereo and surround sound systems and - spoiler alert - our readers were blown away by what they heard.

Check out the video above to see what they made of the experience, and find out who was lucky enough to win the Marantz Melody X and Definitive Technology Demand D7 speakers...
