Kimber Kable HD-09 review

Subdued style but the picture quality is on a par with the best around this price Tested at £73.95

Our Verdict

Subdued style but the picture quality is on a par with the best at around this price

For

  • Reveals unbelievable amounts of detailed sound. Superb picture quality

Against

  • Sound loses some excitement

This entry-level Kimber doesn't look anything special, but don't underestimate its subdued style.

The HD-09 creates a wide sound field and reveals an unbelievable amount of detail, yet it loses the essence and excitement of a film in the process.

There are no gripes about picture quality though; it's on par with the best of the bunch.
