"If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen" - President Truman's words, lyrics to a Bucks Fizz song, and only partly applicable to Morphy Richards. The company quite happily continues to fill your kitchen with electrical appliances, but has also got designs on other rooms of your house.
Its latest foray into the audio world is an internet radio that will also playback your PC's MP3 files through its speaker, should you desire.
Named in true Ronseal fashion, the Morphy Richards Internet Radio will automatically access the internet - and the vast array of global radio stations on offer - when it detects a wi-fi network.
All available stations are uploaded and listed alphabetically, with the radio's dial also allowing you to browse the broadcasts by genre or geographical location.
The radio's Play Media Audio option lets you play MP3 tracks stored on your (networked) PC, or you can plug your MP3 player directly into the Morphy Richards' line-in socket.
Other features include a clock, alarm and sleep timer - so you can wake up or fall asleep to sounds from the other side of the world. Or just good old Auntie Beeb.
