TCI Tiger II
For
- Cheap
Against
- Lack of power
- treble lacks refinement
As you can probably tell by the name, this is a new version of TCI's Tiger cable. It features a number of improvements over the original, including upgraded plugs and insulation.
The Tiger II is of the cheapest interconnects on the market, and it certainly sounds it. There's a lack of power, weight and drive. At the top end, the spangly treble lacks refinement. Detail levels are decent enough. It may be cheap, but at the end of the day, it sacrifices too much where it matters.
