Like its cheaper sibling the XHS223, this cable feels well put together, but for a single wire of its price we were hoping for better performance. Its detail and dynamics are reasonably good, but the treble is splashy, the bass is a tad loose, and timing's not perfect either. Frankly, you can do better.
Ixos XHS523-100M review
