Black Friday hasn't officially arrived yet, but that hasn't stopped huge retailers from getting ahead of the game and offering massive discounts on some of our favorite products.
And for just $139 at Walmart, the Apple AirPods Pro 2 are a Black Friday steal compared to their usual $249 price tag.
The AirPods Pro 2 are amongst the best wireless earbuds on the market right now, earning the first five-star review we've been able to give a pair of Apple buds.
Why? Well, because the noise-canceling is better than they've ever achieved before, battery life is longer at around 30 hours with the charging case and six hours on a single charge, there's new features to previous buds, and much improved sound quality.
Suffice it to say, the Pro 2's impress in pretty much every area of wireless performance, especially when pitted against the brand's alternative buds, the Apple AirPods 4 with ANC and successor, the Apple AirPods Pro 3.
And it's worth taking a moment to shine a light on the improved active noise-canceling. In our full review, we said: “Background noise disappears to a mere murmur, whether that’s office chatter or the roar of train engines on our daily commute.
“It’s a comfortable, airy effect, too, and does a great job of letting you enjoy your music without much distraction from the world around you.”
Sonically, we praised the AirPods Pro 2 for sounding “really, really good” adding weight, great detail and even greater dynamic subtlety to the audio offering.
Thankfully, they also have a very nice fit, with Apple's tweaked design providing a less intrusive feel for the in-ears as well as added on-bud volume controls.
It's a huge leap in performance for Apple, with a relatively affordable price tag that just got a heck of a lot more appealing with a $110 discount at Walmart, thanks to Black Friday.
