Why are large 4K TVs so expensive in UK?

I don't understand why 4K TVs are so expensive in the UK compared to Denmark (DK), a country I normally perceive as much more expensive than UK (I'm a Dane living in London) and everything is normally 20-30 % more expensive in Denmark but not 4K TVs where Danish prices are up to 26 % lower and that includes a VAT of 25% in Denmark.

To show you I have compared some Winter sales examples:

Samsung UE55HU7200 (7205 in DK): Currys wants £1299, in Denmark the lowest price is £845 (not in stock) but in stock the lowest price is £1051, that's almost 20% lower.

Samsung UE55HU8500 (8505 in DK): Currys wants £1999, in Denmark the lowest price is £1473, that's 26% lower or £526 lower.

Samsung UE48HU7500 (7505 in DK): Sevenoaks wants £1099, in Denmark the lowest price is £946, that's 14% lower.

On the smaller 40" TVs the prices are comparable so why are large 4K so much more expensive in the UK than in Denmark, can anyone provide an answer for this question?

4K TV prices

I'm sure prices of the larger 4K TVs will fall over time, but it's still a relatively new technology so some retailers will charge a premium if they can I guess.
