Mr Clough or Mr Everard:

Is the UnitiLite enough for the D18?

Best regards

Well, I can't speak for Mr Clough, but IMHO the UnitiLite would have sufficient power to drive the Proacs unless you were in a huge room and like your music at very high levels.

However, it's not a combination I've heard together, so I'd suggest a long, hard audition would be in order to find out whether it meets your needs.

I owned a pair of small ProAc's as a student. The magnets had the same diameter as the cones! Serious business, like WHF! Cheers

Once, in another hifi lifetime, I briefly plugged a Naim Uniti into a pair of ProAc D 18s. They worked OK together so I'm guessing the Lite will do the job. Whether you'll be happy with the sound though, is another matter. I think the D18s deserve at least the SuperUniti, but best to listen for yourself. Good luck!

I think the UnitiLite has the power to drive the Proacs, but doesn't have  the resolution, transparency or finesse to get anywhere near the best out of them.  The SuperUniti, on the other hand, is a different story.
