Relative to his race-day performances, George Russell has been Mr Saturday this season, which may have some use this weekend. That's because Sunday is Azerbaijani Remembrance Day, which has shifted all of the F1 action forwards by 24 hours.
The Mercedes man has secured pole position four times but has only managed to convert them into two victories. Kimi Antonelli, meanwhile, has eight GP wins off six poles, and Lando Norris has two from three.
Incidentally, Lewis Hamilton is the only driver in the top five of the standings to have ever won the Azerbaijani Grand Prix before – and that was way back in 2018. Aside from Oscar Piastri's victory two years ago, the Baku City Circuit has been a Red Bull stronghold for years, which gives the rise to the potential for Max Verstappen's maiden win of the campaign.
