I made the isolation platform, yes i know it looks as much. Far too unstable with the sorbo blobs the other way up by the way.
The glass platform under the black jobbie was originaly the base shelf of my rack,but the beast of a power amp stuck out around 4" front and back and got on my wick. So i had a new base cut and used the original for an isolation platform. Far too much glass on show, hence the black platform. Overkill maybe but you could drop a bomb on my lounge floor and the TT wouldnt and dosnt flinch.

The wooden fittings and spikes in pic 1 i made myself too. They house damper springs and sorbothane washers.
Stands Unique want over 100 quid for their TT platform. Mine cost 34 quid ( new bottom shelf ) and a bit of time and effort.The black platform cost me about 25 quid tops.
Oh, and if by the photos it looks like my set up is on the pish, no it aint. Im analy retentive about it and check it out weekly, normaly after the cleaner has been !!.

Dont be so daft. At the end of the day its a motor, a cartridge, an arm, a platter and it plays vinyl. Your genie got a rave review in hfn some time back. Show a bit of willing and others may follow suit.

Have added some sorbothane feet since really helped. Not a pretty as your TT but I think my camera work is a bit better . Though my dusting does leave a bit to be desired.
All ive got is a piddly little olympus fe 190. Long gone are the days when i could wield my slrs,cant see close up nowadays,nor the screen on the back of the camera for that matter. I took 18 shots and once up on the comp i deleted 14 of em !.
Mine is not overly special Panny FZ20, I don't really do much photography now, Hi-Fi, Kids, Archery, Kids, Work & Kids take up all of my time now, used to spend loads of time on Macro Photography (i.e. My Avatar) snapshots of TT's are not nearly as satisfying or time consuming.
Sony PS-6750 currently with Shure V15 III and Dino+ phono stage.

That Pro-Ject tt is a beauty - very smart and so simple in design it has GOT to sound good. And those B&Ws, WOW, lovely kit there.
Well, my TT is nothing special, especially compared to the above, A Rega Planar 2, RB200 Tonearm with Ortofon VMS10E MKII, it does the job....
Check out your photo size before posting guys ( 400 x 400 max i think ) Otherwise Mr E will not be a happy bunny.

My Systemdek IIX. A bit old with some wear but I absolutely love it. Way more musical than my Arcam Alpha 7SE cdp. The best £60 i ever spent.
Need to upgrade the cartridge but no funds available at the minute.
Sorry for the bad pictures. My other halfs camera. I just point and click and know nothing about settings.
Thanks GPI, the Genie Sounds Nice, I personally think my CD set-up has more fine detail, but the genie is a modest deck so I did not expect it to, I am really enjoying listening to material that I probably would not listen to on CD any more as the TT is more forgiving.

Gorgeous looking setup, I like my Genie but would be embarrassed to put a photo in after this.
