Wish You Were Here SACD...
Just got this in from America. Wow. It's like honey flowing out my speakers and in to my ear canals. Absolutely loving it. Thank you to the people responsible for making this release happen.
The WYWH SACD is chuffing pricey, mind. But I guess Acoustic Sounds is known for its chutzpah prices.
But PF is a UK band with a large domestic fanbase, so why no UK release?? 
Overall, though, also feeling the love for SACDs.
I can only assume that the marketing/press coverage for SACD's launch was minimal or badly targeted?
Anyone with half an ear can tell that (most) SACDs sound lush 
I have a business trip to the US and had my copy delivered to a colleague to save a few bob. Cannot wait until I pick it up. It is one album that I have always wanted in 5:1 and with Tom's review I almost want to go to the US.
Got my copy from Amazon earlier this month and sat down with it yesterday. Absolutely amazing. The 5.1 mix is very well done as well.
Got mine from an ebay seller in America. Fantastic remix and great packaging. Bit pricey but someone has to pay for pf in their autumn years.
I notice that there are quite a number of newly released SACDs now available in the market. It seems that SACDs are not yet dead.
I will purchase SACDs instead of normal CDs if they are available. Presently 2/3 of my album collection are SACDs
