Tellurium Q black..Any thoughts?
I don't own it, but I've heard it. I think it's a must hear within its price range as (imo) it is great VFM. It gives a "fast", detailed and musical presentation...which will reveal the characteristics of your system.
Thanks Cno, I've just ordered a 2m pair with the biwire links to try them at home for 4 weeks and the seller said I can return them for a full refund if I'm not totally happy. I also want to try the ultra black but they are too expensive for my budget.

That's the way it should be done.....report back with your verdict.
I was looking for WHF reviews about these brand but I could'nt find any.If the Tellurium Q black can do better than my existing Chord epic I will definitely keep them and sell the chord.

IMO It will, but all these things are subjective. If I was a betting man.......
I have thought of these as well and they are still on my list for 2012, but so many things to buy. I have only read good things about Q black, so give us some impressions when you got them. Here from some of the reviews :
Cavernous acoustic space.....palpable sense of reality...good sense of timing and pitch...the sound was controlled and didn’t harden as the volume increased...even tonal balance.”
Hi Fi News (Feb 2010 edition)
“More incisive nature than the Blue..there is excellent focus.. Strings contain texture, bass has a real heft and vocals sound more relaxed and secure in their presentation”
Extract from HiFi World, August 2010
”...offers insight into the way the instruments are being played. That is rare at this price. This is a very communicative, engaging and capable presentation, making it the most natural thing to just forget about listening to the system and simply enjoy the music.”

I have been regularly recommending Telurium Q, as I think it should be on any shortlist where it's in budget. IMO. It's a shame that it's not better known on here.....but I believe it gradually will be.
There was this chap from the other forum site which he compared the tellurium q black vs his chord signature and he prefers the q black. The tellurium Q has got 5 Globes by HiFi World for every cable and given product of the year by HiFi Plus. And WHF have'nt reviewed the company's product yet since lauched in 2010?

Well we help a little here. Ofcause system matching is always crucial, so maybe a bass heavy or relaxed system is not perfect for Q black, but just speculation.
Well I think I'll just wait for next week when the Q black arrives and post my verdict. Thanks Cno and Larry!
I had Chord Epic speaker cables together with Chord Chorus 2 interconnect with my Cyrus kit.
I thoroughly enjoyed it but as a precursor to possibly changing my speakers I tried the Tellurium Q Black speaker cable together with Tellurium Q Black interconnect.
The difference was amazing, with much more detail and controlled bass. I was first concerned that it would be fatigueing to listen to but after a few weeks of demoing that was not the case at all.
I bought both Tellurium items and continue to enjoy the sound and have yet to decide whether or not I want to change my speakers as the cables have made such an improvement!

Thanks Triggy,
Have you tried theTellurium black speaker cable with your chord chorus 2?Or did you try to mix both and what do you think the most significant,is it the tellurium speaker cable or the interconnect? I'm currently using chord anthem2 din from cdx2 to 202 which I prefer than the hiline.

I see you have Black Ravioli pads.....another good product. It's nice to see a fellow "nutcase" out there.
