New Panasonic PVR?
I see that Sevenoaks has dropped the price of the DMR-BWT800 quite considerably - does this mean that a new model is about to make an appearance?

i dont think panasonic released any new freesat models last year.. hopefully there will be a few models this year..
doesn't look good on the Freesat front for Panasonic recorders, as reported last week:

the lack of freesat recorders was reportedly them waiting got the G2 spec of freesat being finalised.. but if they havent announced anything then i wonder are they dropping freesat support altogether? It is included in some of the tvs though.. which is a little strange!
Problem with Pana Freesat Recorders is the price (at least at launch, anyway) can't imagine they would have sold in huge numbers.
It's interesting that they're dropping Freesat due to lack of sales but not Freeview. I wonder why the disparity.
Will be interesting to see what the new product lineup is like but I guess we'll have to wait until April to find that out.

Pretty sure the prices of the Samsung BDDT7800 and the Humax HDR-FOX T2 dropped recently as well. I may be wrong, but I suspect manufacturers are dropping their prices in anticipation of a surge in sales of these devices as analogue is switched off in April.
