Refined, portable and well-priced are three things you're undoubtedly looking for when it comes to buying one of the best Bluetooth speakers on the market right now.
Fortunately, we've said all of those about the JBL Flip 7, which has crashed to its lowest-ever price, just $100 at Amazon.
Even better news? This epic deal is available on all 10 eye-catching colors with matching interchangeable accessories.
The JBL Flip 7 is a five-star What Hi-Fi? Award winner, thanks to its excellent build quality, strong feature set including Auracast and lossless wired audio, and skilful handling of dynamics and rhythms. At $50 off, it's the best price we've ever seen across all colors.
The JBL Flip 7 is, unsurprisingly given the name, the seventh-generation model of JBL's fantastic line-up. And when our expert testers first got their hands on it, they said: "Flippin' heck, JBL has done it again."
With hearty improvements to build quality, features and usability, the Flip 7 is a more rounded performer than ever before, while sonic advances see it stride well clear of the competition.
Yes, the older generation model boasted a still-impressive IP67 water and dustproof rating, but for the Flip 7, JBL has upped the ante to a IP68 certificate.
And that's not all. The drop-proof credentials have been enhanced too, with beefier rubber guards at either end of the cylindrical chassis. Plus, the Flip 7 ditches the built-in adjustable carry loop of its predecessor, opting for a fabric finger loop or a carabiner hook for clipping the speakers easily when on the go.
The Flip 7 also goes big on features with Auracast functionality, meaning you can pair two Flip 7s together in stereo or hook up multiple units via the JBL Portable app.
You'll get 14 hours of juice on a single charge, plus an extra two with Playtime Boost. And there's wired listening for the first time in JBL's range, supporting up to 24-bit/96kHz lossless audio playback via USB-C, meaning that it should sound its absolute best when using a physical tether.
Sonically, our expert testers said in their full review: "We’re going to give the game away early: this seventh-generation model is the best-sounding Flip there’s ever been." It's bassier, with a smoother, more refined profile than the more hard-edged Flip 6 can manage.
All-in-all, the JBL Flip 7 comes with a host of features, performance improvements and upgrades on build and design, which led our experts to say the speaker "feels like the most well-rounded Flip ever".
So, if you're looking to invest or upgrade, we've never seen the Flip 7 at such a low price – just $100 at Amazon.
