Philips SHN9500 (noise-cancelling) review

These 'phones are great for noise-cancelling, detail levels and vocal performance, but fall down with a somewhat pedestrian delivery and high price Tested at £150.00

What Hi-Fi? Verdict

Comfortable noise-cancelling 'phones - they offer an enjoyable, detailed listen.

These Philips ‘phones are frustrating.

Why? Well, in some ways they offer so much – effective noise-cancelling, strong detail levels, particularly pleasing vocal performance – but in others they fall short.

Their delivery is rather pedestrian (especially with basslines), the cable seems too short and they're a bit overpriced.

Worth shortlisting, if you can find a deal.
