However, if you baulk at paying an additional fee for your TV viewing, YouView offers an affordable alternative.

The 2TB Sky+HD box has more than enough storage for your high-def recordings and on-demand content. Pictures are pumped out in crisp quality, with 5.1-channel sound for compatible broadcasts.
If you're after the best, then the Sky+ HD box is it.

If you're not interested in signing up to a subscription TV service, YouView is worth a look. It offers the same 70 channels as can be found on Freeview but adds web-based services, on-demand and catch-up apps. The guide can scroll back or forward seven days to either catch-up on programmes or set future recordings.
The DTR-T2000 does everything incredibly well. It's super quick and the pictures and sound are of great quality.

Freesat offers a different service to Sky and YouView as there are more than 200 channels to choose from. Fortunately performance from the 1100S is quick and efficient. HD pictures are smooth and detailed and 5.1-channel sound from compatible broadcasts is clear.
The usual catch-up services are present and built-in wi-fi means it can now stream content from servers and NAS drives.
