best bet is probably an 8 inch behringer monitor pair within your budget.

 

They may be other makes, but bookshelf size speakers at that price, look for studio monitors.

The Behringer B1031a is available just under the £250 mark and is a perfectly good call. As are all the other recommendations I made earlier.

Behringer B1031A I've looked

Behringer B1031A I've looked into most comments and peoples reviews say that they are clear rather then bassy, Im looking into other speakers I've come across the thx Logitech speakers if they are any good ?
