These Nixon headphones are designed with snowboarders in mind, so it should come as no surprise that they have a very firm, but comfortable, fit.

They produce a nicely open, spacious sound with very good clarity and impressive bass weight and depth.

The bass isn't as taut as it could be – producing a sound that's a touch lethargic compared to the very best – while there's also a touch of sibilance to the treble.

Still, this is the first pair of Nixons we've looked at: all-in-all, they're not bad.
