Mirage has upgraded its ultra-compact Nanosat 5.1 speaker system, adding a new dedicated speaker in place of the original's Omnipolar unit, a high gloss black finish to match the latest flatscreen TVs and satin black on the subwoofer.
The original Nanosat 5.1 system used five of the company's 14.9cm-tall Omnipolar speakers, which use an upward-firing drive unit to give a wider spread of sound, making placement simpler.
The new version, which has been designed for the European market, now has a Nano CC centre speaker, and four of the Omipolar satelite speakers for front and rear left and right channels.
Completing the system, the subwoofer has a 75W amplifier built-in, and comes in a satin black finish to match the gloss black mains speakers.
