Freesat is adding Channel Five to its line-up from November 18th

Freesat, the free-to-air digital satellite TV service, has today announced it is adding Channel Five to its service from November 18th.

Channel Five's autumn schedule includes Paul Mertion in India, 1968 Unseen, Dangerous Adventures for Boys, Unbreakable and Axe Men.

Charles Constable, director of strategy at Five, says: "I am delighted that Five will be available to all Freesat viewers. Our launch will support three of Five's objectives: to be universally available throughout the UK, to let viewers watch our programmes on the platform of their choice and to enable as many people as possible to watch Five free of charge."

Channel Five will automatically be added via viewers' Freesat digital set-top boxes or integrated TVs to channel 105. Viewers will not need to take any additional action to access the channel.
