I have all his albums except the last 2 on LP. and to be honest, I never listen to them now, I think electronica for me was a fad, although I think "Oxygene" has stood the test of time, and still play that and occaisionally "Equinoxe" as well. All the others are just in my "collection".
Got an Alison Moyet LP, today "ALF" great condition, see how it sounds when cleaned. £0.50p (not really my genre but hell it was cheap and looks mint)

But why two?
Sadly. My own secondhand copy of Down the Way is marred by a few pops & clicks as it's a bit worse for wear.
You must get through a fair few albums every month, judging by the number of your posts here.
Any albums I really like, I tend to buy two, as I know I'll play them frequently - you never know when some of these albums are going to disappear and rise steeply in price, so to replace one that is wearing out might end up being expensive. Used copies of the Down The Way album have been hovering around the £300-400 mark, but it has been re-released in France this month, and I hate to promote big corporations, but if you order from Amazon France you can get it for about £60 including shipping. It's a limited run of 500 on clear vinyl. I just hope the quality isn't too different to the original...

I'd leave them filed away if I was you.

Oh they got binned when I was about 16.
I'm just goggling at the advice above to buy a bargain album for £60 - that's more than I could imagine ever paying for any album. Well, perhaps an original copy of Monster Movie on Music Factory...

For anyone who is interested, Wounded Rhymes by Lykke Li is currently available on Amazon. I'm not sure if this is a re-issue, but I have noticed the occasional copy showing on ebay recently, after it being really hard to find under £100. I have a feeling that they've found some copies in a warehouse somewhere, so it might not be around for long.
I won Can-Unlimited Edition on eBay, unfortunately the seller decided not to send it, and then cancelled their eBay account.
I've also ordered a couple of copies of the above mentioned Lykke Li album, it just hasn't arrived yet.
I found a bargain at a Car Boot whilst in Cornwall, Miles Davis - Bitches Brew 1st pressing for (wait for it), 50p. Admittedly the sleeve is knackered, but the vinyl looks really good after a clean in the knosti.
i buy at least a couple of records a week, have a very good oxfam books and music store and i know the guy that looks after the vinyl there. plus a great independant store about 40 mins from home that looks out for me.
i picked up these yesterday
genesis: the lamb lies down on broadway. original german pressing in near mint condtion. that will go alongside the 3 other copies i have in varying degrees of quality.
yes: 90125. cover a little tatty but the final is great.
duran duran: self titled. mint condtion.
marillion: clutching at straws. tatty cover but good vinyl.
Ian Dury: New boots and panties. orignal press in great condtion.
Rush: moving pictures. great condtion, needed a spare copy.
i stick them all through the spin clean then in nice anti-staic inner sleeves then into a blake sleeve.
monday i'm heading out to the store to pick up
Elvis Costello: This Years Model. Original Pressing in mint condition.
Pink Floyd: The wall. original pressing in mint condtion.
i have quite an addiction to vinyl.

Carly Simon - Anticipation £2.99
Grace Jones - Nightclubbing £4.00
Hawkwind - Hall Of The Mountain Grill £4.00
South Pacific - Original Soundtrack £2.99
Joni Mitchell - Wild Things Run Fast £2.99
Tom Waits - Small Change £2.99
Groundhogs - Split £3.00 Took a chance on this, as I really wanted it. It had a few surface scratches, and since playing it, it crackles quite a bit. I'm hopeful though that a good clean will sort most of this.

And "Nightclubbing" will impress you with it's SQ, I have a couple of Grace Jones albums, and the production is superb.
