B&W 804s & 805s and Spendor SP8e

Evening all.

Thought I bring you all up to speed with my Demo last Saturday, following my previous threads on which loudspeaker for a Naim system.

Well Audience in Bath kindly looked after me for two hours listening to the speakers listed above. IMHO I concluded the following :-

SPENDOR SP8e kicked the pants of the B&W,s, no contest, just much, much better. Next saturday I,ve an audition with a pair of Totem Hawks, so will make my descision after that.

Is this yet another Spendor speaker with the model number starting with S...??

SP1/2R, S3e, SA1, SP8e... all very confusing!!

my choice would probably be the 804 S, although I do not know the Totem speakers you mentioned.
I found the 803 S with the Naim supernait just perfect with Jazz and Pop.
Totem forester combined with Arcam is also a convincing combination which I would invite you to listen to.
